Progress Report: Mountain Retreat

We're back in CB visiting an all-time favorite project (don't tell the others). Our friends at Hargrove Kidd Construction have made remarkable progress and still, it wouldn't be construction without a few challenges.

As with all of our projects, we're working through significant lead times (hello, January appliances) but the drive to the end product is keeping us laser-focused. The good news is that it's finally starting to take shape!

Focal Point

The focal point of the entire house is getting a major makeover to perfectly frame the view of Mount Crested Butte.

Loft, Kitchen, & Bar

We opened up the future office space in the loft area and created a lower level wet bar adjacent to the kitchen all formulated to direct your view straight to Mt. CB herself.

Deck & Outdoor Kitchen

The platform for our extended deck for the outdoor kitchen and ground level hot tub.

We added new framing for the chimney stone and opened up the back door to increase flow from the kitchen.
